In Monforte d'Alba, Località Manzoni was born the Bricco San Pietro (additional geographical mention). The land is of the Elvezian type, rich in gray-yellow sands.
The maceration of the skins lasts approx. 15 days.
The 30-month refinement takes place in large French oak barrels and 12 months in bottle.
The Barolo Bricco San Pietro shows a garnet red color with orange reflections. The nose is spicy with balsamic hints of eucalyptus that give freshness. On the palate, plum, star anise and black pepper stand out. The full and warm body with a fine and pleasant tannin. Perfect with braised meats, seasoned cheeses or for deep moments of reflection.
